Head on is a national annual photography portrait competition and exhibition representing a vibrant diverse cross-section of new and traditional photographic practices. Prizes awarded to 3 photographers for the best Australian contemporary photographic portrait.
It runs annually around April at the Australian Centre for Photography in Sydney

2008 Head On Winners

Winners of the 2008 Head On Portrait Prize were announced at the Australian Centre for Photography in Paddington to a record crowd of well over 1000 people. The show was officially opened by the Mayor of Sydney, Clover Moore who presented the prizes to the 4 winners
