Head On Photo Festival

Expressions of interest are now open for David Alan Harvey’s Masterclass at Bondi Pavilion during the 2012 Head On Photo Festival.

Monday 7 May - Friday 11 May 2012.

Head On Photo Festival is proud to announce that legendary Magnum photographer David Alan Harvey will conduct a once in a lifetime Master-class with 15 talented Aussie photographers, as part of the festival during May. Harvey’s Master-class will be a rare opportunity for emerging photographers to be mentored by one of the world’s most engaging photographers.

Head On Photo Festival is Sydney’s major innovative showcase for Australian and international photography of all genres. It is the largest event of its kind in Australia and the second largest in the world.

Head On Portrait Prize 2012

Total value of prizes is approximately $50,000

Head On Portrait Prize is the nation's major innovative showcase for Australian portrait photography, reflecting a vibrant, diverse cross-section of new and traditional photographic practices. It is one of the highlights of the Festival.

Call for entries will be sent in early February.
