Wanted: Emerging photographers for the official Mardi Gras Photo Team.

Want to be considered for the official five-member team charged with capturing the excitement and atmosphere that is Australia's most photogenic mass event?

Successful applicant will undertake a four-week mentored program, with Mardi Gras as your client, to photograph Mardi Gras' official events. You'll also be able to persue personal projects with the aim of building a career enhancing folio.

Beginning 15 Februrary, the team will be based at Moth Studios (www.mothstudios.com.au) on Oxford Street To be considered as an emerging photographer, you need to have:

• Completed a tertiary (university or TAFE) photographic program in 2008-09
• Currently undertaking a tertiary photographic program,
• Have undertaken at least two photographic courses at Australian Centre for Photography since the beginning of 2008
• Membership of Trampoline (Australian Commercial & Media Photographers)
• Membership of the Sydney Group of RedBubble
• Be currently employed as photographer¹s assistant (full or part time)
