In this exhibition Helen Mitchell presents twenty large scale photographs; ten portraits of clients from NZ tattoo artists and ten portraits of clients from Hong Kong tattoo artists. These two post colonial cultures offer both related and contrasting reflections on contemporary tattoo acquisition through the comparison of tattoo styles and narratives around the clients and their stories.
