My exhibition shows 2 of the most pristine areas on the planet, Scoresby Sound and the Jokusarlon Lagoon in Iceland. I visited Greenland by ship for 12 days to areas with no trace of humans except 5-6 bones from the Thor people. Our ship visited uncharted fjords, the home to thousands of icebergs. This is the only place I have ever experienced total silence. No 2 icebergs are the same and I fell in love every day with the colours and textures. Jokusarlon icebergs slowly make their way to the Atlantic Ocean where they are pummelled back into H2O. These regions are the opposite end of the planet so not many of us visit Scoresby Sound. I believe we need to show people the melting ice. I exhibited my work in Auckland in June 2017 and sold 6 works. My work is signed and in editions of 5. I complimented my exhibition with a bespoke limited edition book.
I hope you will visit the Winkel Gallery in Clovelly during the festival, bus stop and cafe right there! I look forward to seeing you.

I am an award winning photographer based in Auckland. Travel photography is my passion and I feel blessed to have visited the remote Scoresby Sound region on an expedition ship. Challenging to photograph at -2 C with no tripods allowed on the zodiacs. The Chinese Govt. have hosted me to China on 6 occasions, once to Judge their 2015 International Photo Salon and on the trip ‘Tibet in The Eyes of 100 Photographers’. In 2017 I judged the New Zealand International Salon. I have held numerous small exhibitions and the last 2 years have been invited to exhibit solo at Exhibiton’s Gallery in Auckland. I have work in the Hyatt Hotel and other corporates as well as private homes in NZ and Internationally. My blog on this trip was also published.
