Inspired by childhood memories of summer holidays on the Aegean seaside, Swimmers explores feelings of relaxation and pleasure people experience in the water.

I relate the experience of being enveloped in water to what I imagine humans experience in the prenatal state. This apparent serenity and inner balance are evident across the project, with subjects floating, moving and hanging within a liquid abyss.

This exhibition is outdoors. Please check what COVID-19 restrictions are in place before you visit.
