The Campbells
Heather Dinas
portrait
The Campbells’ portrait was taken just before sunset in their backyard with their newborn Lyla in her mother Libby’s arms.
The expression of Libby’s eyes moved me, it reminded me of some of the FSA portraits from the Great Depression. Signs of the toddler Scarlett are evident everywhere, from the drawings in the window to the toys strewn across the yard. That is Scarlett running back into the house hot on the heels of the family cat.
